Researchers rely on cell lines as model systems for basic research, standards, and controls. To maintain high cell culture standards and ensure reliable, reproducible results, the use of authenticated cell lines are the most critical factor for cell culture studies. Short Tandem Repeat (STR) analysis is recommended by the American Type Culture Collection (ATCC) Standards Development Organization Workgroup ASN-0002 as the gold standard test for authenticating cell lines. Moreover, many reputed journals necessitate cell line authentication details as a prerequisite prior to publication to increase data credibility.
In addition to our cell line supply service across the country, we have begun service for authentication of human cell lines by STR analysis. Authentication report for human cell lines will be provided by carrying out analysis for 16 STR loci. Our service is committed towards facilitating and nurturing quality research of our end-users across the country.
